WHY IT MATTERS
Wyoming’s kids face challenges that go far beyond cost alone — including isolation, limited access, and fewer safe spaces for connection. When children are excluded or cut off from opportunities to belong, the effects can be profound. Access to activities and community isn’t a luxury — it’s a protective factor. Wyoming consistently ranks among the highest in the nation for youth suicide rates, and too many kids are left without positive, structured outlets where they feel seen, supported, and valued. Research shows that when children participate in organized activities, their mental health improves, their confidence grows, and their sense of belonging deepens. These experiences matter — not just for skill-building, but for well-being. Beyond Limits Wyoming exists to bridge that gap. By covering the cost of programs and gear, we help kids access the same life-shaping opportunities that build connection, resilience, and joy — and remind them that they are not alone.
